El Gato Negro’s 3rd new restaurant located on the corner of Park Row and Bond Street in the centre of Leeds. The Building is a stunning Grade 2 listed Yorkshire stone-clad former bank with ornate features including ceilings and floors keeping the El Gato rustic feel.
ASD removed the existing bar and cook line pass to give a more open feel to the ground floor. We installed a new platform to form a bar seating area followed by a new bar servery to supply the ground floor. To the ground floor we installed a new stand alone bar and wine servery to help keep the drinks flowing.
To the first floor we stripped the original floor and covered with a clear lacquer to keep the rustic features of the floor, we installed new seating and solid hard wood tables. We formed a new private dining area with its own bar servery for private parties and meetings.
We installed a new bar servery and a chefs table to the Charcuterie pass giving a bespoke dining experience.
ASD Project management worked closely with the El Gato team to deliver a scheme on time and budget for a Great Client.
Having been open since the 1st November, the team at El Gato Negro Leeds has picked up two prestigious Oliver Awards: - WINNER - Overall Restaurant of the year and WINNER - Best World Restaurant.
Congratulations to all the team from ASD.
El Gato Negro’s new restaurant located on the iconic landmark of Exchange Flags in the heart of the City of Liverpool opened their doors to the public on the 2nd August 2019 taking over the space formerly occupied by The Vincent Café and Cocktail Bar.
ASD Project Management carried out the interior fit-out of the restaurant bringing the much loved El Gato Negro style from Manchester to Liverpool. The existing timber flooring has been sanded and resealed bringing the restaurant back to life. High quality and specialist decoration has been implemented throughout the restaurant which has completely transformed the former restaurant into an impressive and elegant space to enjoy some fantastic food.
To the exterior of the restaurant we removed the existing worn decking and replaced it with an excellent quality enhanced grain smoked oak millboard decking. The sleek style of this outdoor terrace fits in perfectly with the surrounding architecture.
The fit-out of the open plan restaurant which boasts 240 covers was carried out over a period of 6 weeks and included all mechanical, plumbing and electrical work, bespoke joinery, decoration, tiling and flooring works.
ASD Project Management have successfully handed over the new Portuguese restaurant, Canto. Situated in the up and coming area of Ancoats, the restaurant sits opposite the Cutting Room Square.
The refurbishment was completed over the 8 week contract period from an empty shell. The superb interior design has a Portuguese feel to it however the link to Manchester can also been seen in the use of Ancoats glass displayed on the upper sections of the concrete columns.
The Restaurant will offer modern Portuguese-inspired dishes in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.
Canto has been an excellent project to be involved in and everyone is delighted with the overall finish.
